##સોમનાથ મંદિરને ધ્વસ્ત કરનાર મહંમદ ગઝનીના બચાવમાં રોમિલા થાપર જેવા ડાબેરી જુઠડા અને ભારત વિરોધી ઇતિહાસકારોએ ભલે પુસ્તકો લખ્યા હોય પરંતુ મહાન દેશ ભક્ત ડો. બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકરે ‘થોટ્સ ઓન પાકિસ્તાન’ નામના પોતાના ગ્રંથમાં મહંમદ ગઝનીના અસલી મકસદને સાવ ઉઘાડો કરી નાખ્યો છે.

##મુસ્લિમ આક્રમણો માત્ર લૂંટ કે વિજયની ભૂખને કારણે નહોતાં થયાં. તેમની પાછળ બીજો હેતુ હતો. હિંદુઓની મૂર્તિ પૂજા તથા દેવપૂજાને ફટકો મારી ભારતમાં ઈસ્લામની સ્થાપના કરવાનો પણ તેનો એક હેતુ હતો તેમાં કોઈ શંકા નથી.##

14 એપ્રિલ ભારતના મહાન રાષ્ટ્રભક્ત ડો. બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકરનો જન્મ દિવસ ત્યારે એમના ઇરાદાપૂર્વક દબાવી રાખવામાં આવેલા રાષ્ટ્ર ચિંતનને લોકો સામે લાવવું જરુરી છે. ડો. બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકરે લખેલા થોટ્સ ઓન પાકિસ્તાન ગ્રંથ દરેક ભારતીયે વાંચવા જેવાો છે. એમાં એમણે ભારતને એક હજાર વર્ષ સુધી ખેદાન મેદાન કરનારા વિદેશી આક્રાંતાઓના આતંક, હિંસા અને જેહાદની વિનાશલીલા વર્ણવી છે. ડો. બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકરનું 'થોટ્સ ઓન પાકિસ્તાન' પુસ્તક લગભગ ૭૦૦ પાનાનું છે. ડો. આંબેડકરે સાતમી સદીમાં થયેલા પહેલા વિદેશી મુસ્લિમ આક્રમણથી શરુ કરીને ૧૯૪૦ સુધીના ઇસ્લામી અને અંગ્રેજ આક્રમણનો સંપૂર્ણ ચિતાર આ પુસ્તકમાં આપ્યો છે. ભારતની ગુલામીનો ઇતિહાસ અને ઇસ્લામના સાચા ચરિત્રને જાણવા માંગતા અભ્યાસીઓએ આ ઐતિહાસિક ગ્રંથ વાંચવા જેવો છે.
આમ તો બાબાસાહેબે આ પુસ્તકમાં મહંમદ બીન કાસિમ, ચંગેજખાન, મહંમદ ઘોરી, કુદબુદ્દીન એબક, તૈમુર, મહંમદ બખ્તયાર ખીલજી, અલ્લાઉદ્દીન ખીલજી, બાબર, ઔરંગઝેબ, અહમદશા અબ્દાલી જેવા આક્રાંતાઓએ તોડેલા મંદિરો, મંદિરો તોડીને ઊભી કરેલી મસ્જિદો, હિન્દુઓની કત્લેઆમ, સ્ત્રીઓ પર અત્યાચાર વગેરે વિશે વિસ્તૃત આ ગ્રંથમાં લખ્યું છે. પરંતુ આપણે અહીં માત્ર મહંમદ ગઝની વિશે ડો. આંબેડકરે આ ગ્રંથમાં શું લખ્યું છે એટલાનું જ વિષ્લેષણ કરીશું. સિંધુ સાગરના કિનારે ભારત વર્ષની યશોગાથા ગાતું ભગવાન સોમનાથનું મંદિર ભારતના જય-પરાજય અને જયનું સાક્ષી છે. આ મંદિરને ધ્વસ્ત કરનાર મહંમદ ગઝનીના બચાવમાં રોમિલા થાપર જેવા ડાબેરી જુઠડા અને ભારત વિરોધી ઇતિહાસકારોએ ભલે પુસ્તકો લખ્યા હો
