Karacabey’de “Köylü Pazarı” Projesinde Müjdeli Haber

Karacabey Belediye Başkanı Ali Özkan; AK Parti İlçe Başkanı Ertem İşcan ve MHP İlçe Başkanı Hilmi Kaya ile birlikte, Hayırlar Mahallesi’nde incelemelerde bulundu. Mahalleye yapılan meydan, çeşme, mesire alanı ve yenilenen duvar çalışmalarını inceleyen Özkan, ‘Köylü Pazarı’ projesi hakkında müjdeli bir gelişmeyi de duyurdu.

Karacabey Belediye Başkanı Ali Özkan; AK Parti İlçe Başkanı Ertem İşcan ve MHP İlçe Başkanı Hilmi Kaya ile birlikte, Hayırlar Mahallesi’nde incelemelerde bulundu. İncelemelerde, mahalle muhtarı Hayati Aslangeri ve mahalle sakinleri de kendilerine eşlik etti.

Mahalleye yapılan meydan, modern çeşme, mesire alanı ve yenilenen duvar çalışmalarını inceleyen Özkan, ‘Köylü Pazarı’ projesiyle ilgili müjdeli bir gelişmeyi de duyurdu.

Vatandaşların talebi üzerine bazı bölgelerde duvarların yenilendiğini belirten Özkan, özellikle yaz sezonunda yabancı misafirlerin bu kırsal mahalleyi sık kullandığını ve üreticilerin bunu fırsata çevirmek için bir pazaryeri talebi olduğunu ifade etti.

Yerel kalkınmaya destek

Özkan ziyarette yaptığı açıklamada, “Yaz sezonunda Bursa, İstanbul ve Ankara hattından gelen misafirlerin kullandığı alternatif ve kestirme güzergâhlardan biri, Hayırlar Mahallemizden geçmekte. Biz, yerli üreticiyi doğrudan pazara yönlendirmek adına çeşitli çalışmalar hazırlıyorduk. Burada vatandaşlarımızın da talep etmesiyle bir ‘Köylü Pazarı’ projesi tasarladık. Bu sayede bölge halkımız, bahçesinde veya tarlasında yetirdiği ürünü direkt olarak veya geleneksel yöntemlerle işleyerek, burada satışa çıkarabilecek. Yerel üreticiye destek olduğu gibi yaz aylarında buradan geçen binlerce insan da bu coğrafyanın ürünlerini birince elden satın alabilecekler. Açık pazar şeklinde olması, pandemi sürecinde de projeyi sekteye uğratmayacak. Sahil bölgemize giden yol üzerinde, harika bir pazar alanı olacağından eminiz. Sadece Hayırlar Mahallesi değil, komşu mahallelerden de üreticileri burada ağırlayacağız” şeklinde konuştu.
