亞洲武術聯合會

亞洲武術聯合會(簡稱亞武聯)是一個以加強亞洲武術界之間的合作和增進其友誼，提高武術運動技術水平及推動亞洲武術運動發展爲宗旨的國際武術組織。亞武聯在1987年9月25日在日本橫濱正式成立。截至2014年09月，亞武聯會員已達37個。亞武聯章程規定，亞武聯工作語言爲漢語和英語，並每兩年擧行一次亞洲武術錦標賽。自1987年9月在日本横濱擧行第一屆亞洲武術錦標賽以來，又於1989年12月在香港、1993年在韓國、1997年在菲律賓擧行了第二、三、四屆武術錦標賽。在亞武聯的努力下，由第11屆亞運會開始，武術已列爲正式比賽項目，此後，武術亦被列爲東亞運動會及東南亞運動會的正式比賽項目。在亞武聯領導下， 1994年6月14日在雅加達成立東南亞武術聯盟，以及在2008年成立西亞武術聯盟。最近，越南武協已成功在2012年舉辦第8屆亞洲武術錦標賽、菲律賓武協在2013年舉辦第7屆亞洲青少年武術錦標賽。第17屆亞運會期間，在韓國仁川召開的第15屆亞武聯代表大會上選出了新一屆執委會。新一屆主席為霍震寰，副主席為日本的村岡久平、越南的黄永江、馬來西亞的紀永輝和伊朗的邁哈迪‧阿里内賈德。澳門的陳永傑任秘書長，中國的王玉龍任副秘書長爲。執委為吳華彬(菲律賓)、李伯波(緬甸)、邱怡平(印尼)和金用楀(韓國)。陳國榮（中國）為技術委員會主任；李文欽(澳門)為傳統武術委員會主任。秘書處設在澳門。

According to Sommers, the gender feminist view is "the prevailing ideology among contemporary feminist philosophers and leaders", and "thrives on the myth that American women are the oppressed 'second sex.'" Sommers' equity feminism has been described as anti-feminist by critics.
