ピアノ教室を何年かやっていると、月謝を見直す機会がやってくることがあるかもしれません。テキストのレベルに応じて変わる「予め定められた値上げ」とは違って、保護者にとっては「予想外の値上げ」の場合、先生も値上げに頭を悩ますところです。しかし、ポリシーや理由あって月謝を値上げするのですよね？月謝の値上げはけして悪いことではありません。双方にできるだけ気持ちよく月謝値上げを迎えることができるとう、保護者への「値上げ」の伝え方や注意点について考えてみましょう。ピアノ教室の月謝を値上げする時の注意点世の中の流通するモノやサービスの価格は変動しています。なだらかにではありますが「物価は上昇している」ことを考えると、ピアノ教室の月謝も値上がりをすることはけして特別なことではありません。けれど、月謝の値上げを保護者に伝える時には次のようなことに注意点しましょう。注意点その①　できる限り早めに伝える注意点その①　できる限り早めにお伝えする「来月から月謝が500円値上がりします」と言われたら、たとえ500円の値上がりだとしてもすんなりと受け入れる気持ちにはなれませんよね。教室の月謝を値上げする場合は、遅くとも半年前には保護者にお伝えしましょう。もっと言うと、理想は1年前です。というのも、月謝の値上がりに納得のいかない保護者にとっては１年間あれば、ほかの教室を探すことができます。また、そうではないその他の保護者にとっても1年間あればゆとりをもって心づもりができます。なので、早すぎるくらい早めに伝える方が親切です。注意点その②　値上げ額は妥当な金額に注意点その②　値上げ額は妥当な金額に月謝を値上げすることを1年前にお伝えしたとしても、値上げの額が2,000円や3,000円もに上るとさすがに多くの保護者がギョッとしてしまいます。どうしても、2,000円、3,000円の値上げが必要な時には、1年ごとに1,000円アップして2か年、3か年計画で進めると波風も立ちにくいかと思います。月謝の値上げを保護者に伝える時の言い方とは？それでは、月謝の値上げを保護者の方々へ伝える時の言い方などについて考えていきましょう。「申し訳ありません」という謝罪の気持ちを伝える月謝の値上げは悪いことではないのですが、保護者の方にとっては切迫した問題になりうるかもしれません。今通って来ている生徒さんたちは、先生の人柄やポリシーに納得をして入会をされた生徒さんたちだと思いますが、現実的な問題として「コスト（＝月謝）」についても考慮して、先生の教室を選んでいることと思います。なので、当初提示していた月謝から値上がりしてしまったことへの「ご迷惑をおかけして申し訳ないです」という気持ちは謙虚に伝えるのがまっとうな姿勢ではないかと思います。「ご理解いただきありがとうございます」という感謝の気持ちを伝える謝罪の気持ちと併せて、月謝の値上げにご理解をいただけたことに対する感謝の気持ちもしっかり伝えましょう。月謝が値上がりしても「この先生に習いたい」と思ってくれている生徒さん、そして保護者の方たちを大切に想うことは当然のことですよね。自分が経営している教室だとは言っても、ピアノ教室は「生徒さんあってこそ成り立っている生業」です。生徒さんや保護者の方には謙虚な姿勢で接し、いつも感謝の気持ちを忘れないようにしたいものですね！保護者から「月謝の値上げ」を反対されたら！？本来ならば、学校でも習い事でも「先生」の方針には従うのが筋ですが、中には「月謝が上がるのは困ります」と、不躾にもクレームをおっしゃる保護者もいます。そういった方には「申し訳ありません」とお伝えしたうえで「月謝が高くなるのが困るのなら、月謝が安い教室に変わっていただいてもかまわない」といった旨を先生自信の言葉でうまく伝えるのは悪いことではありません。たとえば「ご迷惑をおかけして本当に申し訳ありません。こちらとしてもとても心苦しいです。ですが、月謝の値上げにご納得いただけない場合はほかの教室に移っていただくしかございません。せっかくいただいた〇〇ちゃんとのご縁が、教室の都合でお別れになるのは本当に申し訳ありません。」等、カドが立たない言葉を選んでお伝えする必要があります。ピアノ教室ではなく、もしも行きつけの美容室で料金の値上がりがあって「このお値段でこのサービスは納得が行かない」と思えば美容室を変えますよね。ピアノ教室もそのような考えのもと「値上がりをしてでも、通い続けたい」と思う人だけが続けて通ってくだされば良いのではないでしょうか。ある意味、「月謝の値上げ」は「本当に教室に賛同してくださる生徒・保護者をスクリーニングする」機会になるのかもし
